Our own little world...
Lately I have been searching on the internet for countries in Africa that I would like to visit. There are many but one of them on the list is Sierra Leone. The country in which the movie Blood Diamond is based out of. The country is at peace now but not without a huge price. The movie really tugged at my heart. It is hard to understand that this movie is based off true events, that there really are child soldiers that no nothing other than killing. We are so blessed to live in America we can just ignore all the awful things that we want to pretend don't actually happen. We can turn off the tv or put down the paper never seeing the dying happening right in front of us. One person may not be able to change the world but one person can definitely change a life! I believe I have been put on this earth by God to do just that! We can make a difference! I recommend watching the movie Blood Diamond and let it touch your heart!
