The Great I Am!


How great is He!  Today I have felt so much blessing from                
the Lord.  Despite the disappointing news of the Antioch 
Discipleship School not being held this fall, I feel amazing! I really felt that I needed to continue to move forward today and let the future take care of itself.  So I asked a wonderful lady, Bonnie, to basically mentor me this summer on the Bible and her own life experiences.  She was honored and that made my day!  I can't wait to start!  My passion is for 
needy children and some day I would like to open a Non profit organization.  I received more clarity on this dream this morning and I am very excited.  I am not sure how I am going to come about raising funds yet but I know all the proceeds will be going to children!  Which was probably predictable but I want it to go to any child all of over the world that may need food, clothes, school funds/supplies, medical needs and even money to children being adopted, which would intern go to their adoptive parents!  I cannot wait to make my next trip to Africa!  I would like to travel to a different region but also revisit Burkina Faso.  I am missing all the babies today!

God Never Ceases To Surprise Me!

I have now been back home from Atlanta for about two months!  It has been good to be back and spend this time with my family.  Since I have been back I have just been kind of walking through the motions not exactly sure where I was going.  It wasn't until a few weeks ago that God really surprised me again!  My mom, grandma and I went into town one morning to do a few errands.  While waiting for my mom at the Chiropractor my grandma got to talking to me about my future (a topic I avoided mostly because I hadn't a clue what my future held).  Anyways it got me thinking.  That afternoon I was on my laptop, bored so I was just searching different things, when I felt lead to look up the Bible school that I knew was in Moberly.   I had been on their website a while back during my DTS but for some reason (aka God) different things on their site caught my eye this time.  And you must know I really was against going back to college for a couple reasons...

JOY!!!

As I begin this week I am filled with joy!!! The first week of DTS was absolutely amazing!!!  We really got to know each other and connect to one another!  I have already felt a change in my life!   Inside Martin Luther King Jr.'s Chruch! On thursday we learned about intercessory prayer!! This was a great teaching on something that I had really never heard of before, much less put into practice.  It is an incredible concept in which we can call out to God to help others and make huge changes in this world!  This is about us as a group coming together to pray for a cause that God has laid on our heart to change others lives!  Joanna and I at Centennial Park! Friday, we took a trip to Downtown Atlanta!!! A Whole New World

It's been a while since I have posted and oh so much has happened in the last several months!  God continues to amaze me in all He is doing in my life.  For all who may not know I am currently a Freshman at Central Christian College of the Bible studying Christian Counseling.  It has been amazing semester here and I have met so many wonderful people and continue to expand my knowledge and understanding of God!  Coming to CCCB was far from my plan but God knows best.  God answered so many prayers in my coming here.  After finishing with my Discipleship Training School I had no clue where God would lead me.  I was completely walking by faith!  Going back to college was one of the last things on my mind that is for sure!  However, after searching the internet one day God lead me to CCCB's website.  There were two major reasons I did not want to go back to school...I did not want to take pointless classes and I didn't want to go in debt.
